
We provided facilitation and dispute resolution services to a comprehensive project team spanning multiple departments who were in the process of developing end-user needs and requirements. Project progress was being severely impacted and relationships between the department personnel, project team members, and vendors were strained to the point that the project was beginning to fail. This multi-million dollar project required independent, expert facilitation services from I.C. Possibilities to ensure maximum productivity from participants, to encourage all participants to jointly own the deliverables and to ensure the project remained within established timelines. Over the course of this 10-month contract, over 5000 business requirements were reviewed and amended and presented to the vendors. The project resulted in successful completion of the negotiation of business requirements and ultimately successful implementation while maintaining healthy working relationships.
Facilitation was provided in a variety of venues with a variety of senior and middle management teams. Alternative dispute resolution was routinely required. Facilitation training was also provided to team leaders of the department personnel and project team members. Specific emphasis was placed on pre-planning skill development and techniques for maximizing "buy-in" from project participants.
