Anita Wolfe, M.B.A.. B.S.F., C.C.N., B.S.N.

Anita’s versatility is reflected in the creative processes to deliver workshops, interactive sessions and deep conversations with clients and stakeholders. She is known for her adaptability to work with people at all levels – Board of Directors, Executives, leaders “in the middle”, front-line employees, and stakeholders.

Anita Wolfe is the founder of Environment for Change. Her professional focus is helping leaders integrate strategy with integrity. Currently Anita works with communities and organizations to implement strategy, build commitment to action, and strengthen leadership. She provides executive and performance coaching, leadership development, facilitation and strategy development services.

Anita understands the dynamics of leadership, management processes, and business practices, and how they influence customer, stakeholder and employee commitment. She brings a disciplined approach to strategy to ensure it is relevant to the external environment. Accountability is necessary to create the preferred future. Building on her experience with large-scale change, her approach helps people identify their part in the solution, and clarify their intention to make things happen. Anita works with leaders to create a culture of accountability, which will implement their strategy and transform the organization. Anita’s brings a disciplined approach to strategy and coaching. Her value is the way she brings integrity into implementation of strategy through executive coaching, facilitation and leadership development processes. Anita helps clients close the gap between where they are and where they want to be. Clients identify and commit to action to create results they want.

She is known for her adaptability to work with people at all levels – Board of Directors, Executives, leaders “in the middle”, front-line employees, and stakeholders. Assignments have taken her from helicopters in northern British Columbia to manufacturing facilities in Australia, and from fishing trawlers off the coast of Nova Scotia to delivery trucks in Ontario.

With diverse experience in the private and public sector, Anita’s interdisciplinary background includes strategic planning for sustainability, performance management, organization design, systems thinking, risk management, resource management, environmental management systems, environmental education, community economic development, and adult learning. In BC, Anita has held assignments and/or been employed by ICBC, BC Hydro, Ministry of Forests, City of Victoria, City of Nanaimo, Weyerhauser, Canadian Forestry Service, and numerous HRDC funded projects. Anita has also consulted to CEOs and executives in Canada and US, including IBM, Purolator Courier, Domtar, Aetna Life Insurance, MICA Management.

Anita holds an M.B.A. (with Distinction) from the University of Western Ontario, a B.Sc. in Forest Resource Management from the University of British Columbia, and is a Registered Professional Forester (R.P.F.). She is a Certified Coach (Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, and is a member of the International Coaching Federation and Vancouver Island Professional Coaching Association. She is also a faculty member for Sustainability, Leadership, and Building Sustainable Communities at Royal Roads University.
